The Botanic Gardens are the local stronghold of this bee species, but numbers seem to be down this year, would appreciate reporting of any sightings.

Excellent Roger. I spent half an hour waiting at these Sennas yesterday for a sighting. It must have been her lunch break.

Thanks Michael. Tim Leach has seen a number of males flying rapidly around a number of different Senna clusters in the gardens in the last few days presumably waiting for females to emerge and visit.
