The bird was sitting on the side of the path at the lower end of ANBG's Sydney Region Gully and was so well camouflaged that it almost got stepped on. It ran off to hide under adjacent bushes and eventually ran away from the area using bushes and undergrowth for cover. Thanks to Barbara and Marcus for help with photographing the bird.
