I can't find anything that matches this little bee, probably 2 or 3 flying around with other native bees.

It is probably not uncommon because it has been found from Kangaroo Island to northern NSW. The patchy distribution indicated in ALA is probably a simple combination of limited collecting and incomplete recording of the material in Australian collections.
