I was not aware M. habitalis had not been recorded in the ACT. Bold Systems 4 shows records for coastal NSW, Tasmania and WA. I supposed the moth and 4368703 looked more like specimens of M. habitalis (quite variable, and the costal makings matched) on the ALA than M. naupliasis. mhewish commented on iNaturalist she does not know how to reliably separate the two species. Happy to revert to M. naupliasis if that's the case. I note vicfazio3 asserts the 'the antemedial crossline" is unique to M. habitalis - but I'm not sure whate he means by that.
