The ALA shows this moth occurring in both NSW and Victoria.

The photo matches A. decaspila well, and that is the most common ACT species. A. crocea is more coastal.

I think the two Atheropla species are transposed on page 32 of 'Morwell National Park Lepidoptera and Neuroptera (Harris and MArriott 2018)!
