Three-toed Skink is one of five species that belong to the Hemiergis genus, which is part of the Sphenomorphus Group of skinks. Hemiergis are sometimes referred to as earless skinks or reduced limb skinks.
The Three-toes Skink as the name implies has three toes on each limb. With reduced limbs they are almost legless.
They are largely grey or brown in colour with a bight yellow belly. They largely lived underground and while commonly are rarely seen.
Distribution: Probably common throughout region.
