Glyphipterix amblycerella

The adult moths of this species have brown forewings, each with six short silver stripes on the costa, and a short black bar near the middle, and two short white stripes on the hind-margin. The hindwings are plain dark brown. The moths have a wingspan of about 1.3 cms.  The species has been found in Tasmania.
