This is the first sighting of this genus on CNM, and the first sighting of ANY native slug!

This is a beaut sighting, pretty sure its a species not reported on CNM yet but Ill consult my books and get back you when I've got an ID. Thanks Tim and Marcus for these great sightings!

I was sure this was Cystopelta astra, but Michael Shea can only confirm its a Cystopelta sp.
Australian land snails Volume 1 states that Cystopelta astra may represent more than one species so I am guessing there is some variability and not enough research into this species (or group) to know yet.
Beautiful sighting of a native slug though and I'd love to see some more sightings.
