Incredible how large the variation in appearance is in this species, both in colour and pattern of the wings and length of the protrusion in front of the head (are these the palpi?).
The variations in behaviour, morphology, and colour suggest that the Australian specimens under the name Uresiphita ornithopteralis are actually a species complex, and further work may show how to distinguish them.
