Survey conducted between 9:25 and 10:15am. There were lots of Hypochaeris radicata flowers and lots of St Johns Wort. The photographed insects are in a collection at https://canberra.naturemapr.org/collections/sightings/11427 There were a total of 34 photographed sightings including: Bees - 22; Beetles-5, Wasps - 2, Butterflies 2, True bug -1, Katydid - 1, Fly - 1. I assume all the unphotographed bees were the same as the photographed ones. Out of the photographed bees they all looked like the same species to me except for one honey bee. The unphotographed butterfly was a Common Brown and all the beetles were pintails probably of different species.
