Gelatinous, on wood – genus uncertain

There are various genera of fungi that produce soft, more-or-less jelly-like fruit bodies, in  a variety of shapes. Some are fairly easy to identify to genus (or even species) and Tremella is an example already found on Canberra Nature Map. However, there are also those in which a reliable identification to genus may not be possible from a photo and this category has been created to cater for such photos.
