Corylophidae: Corylophinae: Sericoderini
Minute, rounded beetles with the head is almost hidden under the pronotum and the body tapering towards the tail, where the the end of the abdomen is exposed due to the shortened elytra. The overall surface is not very shiny, due to its being covered in short pubescence. The antennae are relatively long.
These beetles are believed to feed on fungi.
