Micrerethista nigrapex (A Tineid moth (Harmacloninae))

The adult moth of this species has grey forewings, each with arcs of dark speckles, and with dark splodges near the wingtip and the tornus. The head is covered in fuzzy grey scales, and there is an erectable set of scales just behind the thorax. The wingspan is about 2 cms.
