Terrific. Did you get a photo of the caterpillar? I have put a copy of your pupal photo into http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/lima/pinguis.html I hope that is OK? What was the pupa attached to (I guessed a twig) ?
@donhe it was attached to a eucalyptus trunk in a crevice, so I had to remove it from the tree. I don't have the caterpillar but I have more pics of the moth and the cup - I'll email the hi-res ones to you. It unfortunately was in an odd position when its wings dried so one is bent.
@donhe she/he is still in the garden where I released it- still on the container! I've moved it to a spot where it has better shelter but still easy for potential mates to access and me to monitor, just in case it feels like staying.
