According to Brian Selman, C. vittata has a straight vittae and deeply pitted pronotum, some of which are filled in black. These black filled pitts seem to form an extension of the lateral stripe along the elytra in the sense that they line up. They are also black in scutellum and back of head. Here is a typical example. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/189911073 C. juncta has curved vittae which join at the apex and curve outwards to the margin proximally (near the pronotum). There is no black marking on this beetle, except antennae, which is shared by all Calomela. There are commonly misidentifed Calomela. Both species are common in ACT.
