Hi @MB, if you get another chance to photograph a goanna, we can identify the individuals by looking at markings on their right face or left face or preferably both. In this area are several previously recorded in the NPA Goanna Project so I will try to check your photos against theirs, but closeup images of the head would make it easier. They can live for decades, which makes it a more worthwhile thing to do. cheers
