The 2 photos depict 2 sites of less than 0.5m2 in the drainage line close to the Hackett water reservoir. The sites each with dozens of young privets along with Ivy and bay exemplify the situation along the lower part of the drain line where volunteers pull out 100s if not 1000s of woody weeds each (!) year. The parent plants occur in nearby gardens and garden extensions into nature reserves. The situation is unsustainable.
