User's notes

In grassy woodland north of drainage line under euc trees; 284 privets with about 1/3 Narrow-leaved Privet in an area of 130m2; cut and dabbed or manually removed and mapped with Field Maps Treated Weeds. The photos give an impression of the privet situation; not visible the many small in the under 0.3m category; the same area has been weeded between 1.5 and 2 years ago. There are large fruiting Privets in nearby gardens eaten by a large number of Currawongs. So far this autumn, 2 Friends of Mount Majura volunteers removed approximately 2000 privets from less than 1000m2 north of the drainage line: the situation is unsustainable.
