User's notes

A poor year for Pterostylis. Fun fact I learned while at the Beadle Herbarium in Armidale: pretty much no herbaria accept Jones' nomenclature, apart from Canberra. Makes me wonder why NatureMapr is choosing to use it...

I too wonder the same. I have discussed this issue with a few others. This issue is on my radar. But don't expect any changes in the immediate future.

@mattm yeah, I figured it'll stay the same for some time. I just found it interesting, as I hadn't realised how contentious it was until I got talking to the botanists up there!

It is very much just an ACT thing. I find the Pterostylis splits to be quite useful to distinguish them, however all the other herbaria disagree with the splits.
