Pretty sure this is blackberry, the stem is arching and thicker, and the leaves are broader. The leaflets are also grouped more closely than in R.parviflorus.

yes, blackberry! I removed quite some Bb in that area from the reserve entry @ Antill street to half way up to Centenary Track; not sure whether they regrow or are new infestations spread via seeds from the vast Blackberry stands on private land north of Federal highway.
