It's not a species of Ligustrum, as they only have two stamens in each flower. It looks like the flowers have an inferior over (ie the petals and sepals occur on 'top' of the ovary), possibly something in the family Rosaceae??

I considered R. canina and R. rubiginosa, and thought that the completely reflexed sepals confirmed it for R. canina - but you don't think so ? .
