The ID of this moth to the species leve lremains uncertain, but severasl local observations have apparently been made, see "Eretmocera (genus) (Scythrididae family)'' on CNM. No close match on Bold Systems 4 is apparent or on the ALA. or iNaturalist. Looks superficially similar to Scythris trivinctella on iNaturalist (one unconfirmed observation near Melbourne) but that species is native to North America.

Thanks Ian, looks like it. Looking at the other sighting on CNM it does seem to like native daisies.
