User's notes

Differing identification of T latifolia has been given, which has sparked some serious debate on the Australian Native Orchids FB group, but I'm sticking with T brevifolia for now.

Pretty sure that is endemic to SA.....

@tapirlord it is, but I've found a moth species here which is endemic to Vic and Tas, and a butterfly endemic to Bathurst so hey, anything is possible. I definitely think this is T brevifolia, but I'm leaving it to the two orchid guys to duke it out. Interesting discussion in the group, if you care to follow along. The T latifolia guy has a pretty solid argument.

I suppose, but noting that moths and butterflies are capable of moving great distances and are often vagrants. Harder for plants, although if it were to be anything it would be an orchid. I'd be pretty curious to see the discussion but I couldn't find it on FB, is it Lachlan's group?

You'd rock a few worlds if it was T.latifolia! :).

@Tapirlord sure would, so it would be pretty cool, but I won't hold my breath! Yup, it's Lachlan's group. Debate is between Robert Mitchell and Robert Bates, in the comments of my post (I'm Christina Steele).
