Looked so drab, I was very close to not even bothering taking a photo. Glad I did decide to take one, even though it isn't entirely in focus. Might get out my UV light tonight, seems like I'm in an area that is under reported for moths on Canberra Nature Map.

Yes, i'm not sure about this one. The moth looks faded and worn, bur their are vestigial markings which seem t0 possibly fit for this species. Possibly Leucania (genus) but I couldn't see a convincing match there. Similar though, to the lepidoptera Butterfly House photo of this species.

Yes, the escarpment area beyond Braidwood deserves more attention. The Deua-Wadbilliga is somewhat of a biodoverse hot spot for several plant species, so maybe moths too. I've spemt a few nights at the Wybalene Caves campsite but other sites in that region also deserve visits.
