Like other upload from near this location, but this plant was in a more protected site and had either flowers budding or new growth. Still cannot get to genus. The spiked leaves made me think Anchor plant, knowing full well that Grevillea and Wattle have similar traits.
Jim, just as a tidbit. Discaria pubescens occurs in frost hollows and grassy flats at higher elevation (in the 1000+ range). In the ACT is has only been found in Namadgi and it would be a very unlikely find in any of our urban reserves.
