Hi @Tapirlord I see your notes about this species now being in the genus Styphelia, I know there have been a number of changes in this complex. Are these changes ones you think we should adopt here on Nature Map?
Yep, essentially all of the "fluffy" leucopogons (L.fletcheri, L.fraseri, L.attenuata, etc.), plus members of a few other genre (like Astroloma) have now been merged into Styphelia. It is worth noting, I think that this change is still relatively new (and behind a paywall sadly). But to answer your question, yes I do think we should adopt the changes on Naturemapr and that we should do this methodically and all at one time. Ideally we would do this off the orginal papers, but it might be a challenge to acquire all of them, so instead I think it is best to sit tight for now until most authorities are accepting and displaying the split.
Great, yes I've had a look too for some of the information but doesn't seem to be too much available yet. I do note that I think iNat uses these new changes. But yes, I agree with you that we should keep it consistent and methodical, happy to wait tight for now.
