Hard to tell from the photos whether it's Rosa canina or Rosa rubiginosa. Rosa canina has glabrous stems and leaves; Rosa rubiginosa usually has some glandular hairs on the leaves and stems & the leaves apparently have a sweet apple-like smell when crushed.
