Looking at the named species of Glyphipterix( genus) species shown on the ALA i'm not sire that the forewing markings match G. cyanochalca. I think they more closely match G. gypsonota which is shown as having been recorded in Tasmania and southern Victoria. Therefore I am suggesting Glyphipterix (genus).

Interesting. We have other species in the area that are only found in isolated places between here and Tasmania. Plants and considered to be remnant species. No reason why it shouldn't apply to moths as well. I used to know someone who spent some of his spare time looking for (and finding) isolated populations of butterflies.
