Hard to estimate but I would say I see around 50 tussocks where I stand (north of upper part of drainage ditch). The CNG infestation along the drainage ditch has been repeatedly reported to Parks; in fact since years.
Contractors sprayed about a quarter of the CNG along the drainage ditch.
There are a number of dead bare patches; these will be revegetated by CNG as there is a massive seed bank from growing monoculture patches over many years. Volunteers made a number of suggestions to reduce the danger of growing just more CNG from the present massive seed bank but did not prevail.
