User's notes
The lone small ant was sighted foraging on a retaining wall at the ANBG. The size of the ant can be gauged by the grey coloured Springtails (Hypogastrura sp.) seen close to the ant in the third to fifth images.

Well spotted Tim. This ant used to be in the genus Monomorium, but was put into the genus Chelaner a few years ago. Cheers, Jon
