Moths of Victoria (Part 1) says females rarely come to light, males hardly ever.

All the P. metaphaea examples I see on the ALA have black markings on the forewings. This has 10 orange and black dots.and no black banding to speak of like othe female P. cana I see there. Not sure I see a significant difference in dor pttern
