Brian I think you may have 2 species here, one is defiently Phebalium squamulosum (photo 3), but 2 & 4 look like the much rarer Asterolasia trymalioides!! Seems like you went on an absolutely phenomenal trip.
Ah yes well spotted! I remember thinking there were two different species of yellow-flowering Phebalium-type things in the field - I'm glad you spotted the difference - I'll have to post the Asterolasia-one separately. And yes it was an incredible walk!
