My similar looking sighting was lumped in with the Rupicolana orthias sightings, see CNM Sighting No, 4352717. Could this be the same and a different species? I've yet to find a match to a named species with a white rather than a black marking as in R. orthias.
I agree that your sighting 4352717 is very similar to this one even if this one appears a lot darker. I never got to photograph mine from the side because it got bombed by another moth and it flew away. I tried to find a match as well and failed. I would be surprised if it was R. orthias.
The costal markings suggested Olethreutinae to me, but I agree the forewing medial diagonal band looks more like Tortricinae. I agree the white patch behind thorax of this and 4352717 looks like no species that I know.
