Thanks for the identification. I looked on the ALA site and it states that there are two species. Is it possible to identify one of the species? Either semiochrea or ombrophanes?
No, on CNM we don't think it possible to reliably tell them apart on sight alone. There is even doubt that they are distinct species, albeit apparently named by two different authorities working independently. i have seen it argued that the larvae of the two species are distinct, but that's usually no use when the adult moth is all you have to go on.
