These Red Flowered Grevillea sp shrubs are growing at this location alongside Sydney Federal Highway and also nearby Inside Mt Majura Nature Park. Is this a local Grevillea sp. or is an "import" from Interstate. Sprawling growth habit, leaves silvery green, about 2-4 cm long by 5mm wide.
Max, thanks for sending me the link to this Grevillea record; as you can see it landed in Watson rather than Mt Majura and therefore I didn't receive the notice (only records that CNM place in Mt Majura or Majura will land on my administrator desk). To my knowledge, there is no endemic Grevillea on Mt Majura. So it is most likely an escape from the Federal highway plantings along with all the Knife Leaf Wattle, Snowy River Wattle, Grevillea arenaria etc that invaded the north slope of Mt Majura.
