New location for Grevillea Diminuta?? Would this be of any significance.......... The plant was found close to the path with flower buds beginning to appear.
This would be a new and significant location but given its location on the east side of the River in the Pine Island/Point Hutt location and that there is only one plant I suspect it has been planted. @Darren do you have any information re possible planting?
Hey Michael I've noted it before beside the path there. Not typical leaf form and way out of range so I never thought G.diminuta. This area is strangely diverse and progressing wonderfully with careful and active management. My thought was a hybrid of a few species. The area has been actively revegetated by vollies from a huge variety of plant sources so i would not be surprised if it is a planted plant. I don't have a plausible view in tis case sorry. do we have a specimen? I'll go have a look w my Gd eyes on. D
Thanks Darren - Don't have a specimen at the moment but can collect one if needed - I think we will treated it as a planted specimen unless a good reason emerges to consider otherwise
