User's notes
I went to have a look at the Hairy Coconut Ants at the site as reported by Shorty in 4365547. I discovered that most of the time it is very difficult to see any hairs at all, but if the light is right they may be visible. Photos show adult carrying young, ant with hair visible on gaster, ant carrying nest material, and some alates in situ. I will add another sighting of just the Alates. These Coconut ants are definitely larger than the "Shiny" Coconut Ants.
