There are records on the ALA for Queensland and the ACT. The most recent record there was described as 'Central Canberra', date 31/1/2021 by Donald Hobern.

The appearance of this species on Black Mountain is very interesting, as it had previously only been recorded in Queensland. It has been recorded a few other times on Black Mountain in between the iNAT record and this one. Roger, was your moth perched in the powerline clearing?

Note from Donald Hobern - I didn't describe it as "Central Canberra" (on iNaturalist) - that was just how my coordinates got categorised somewhere.

Note to Donald Hobern. Yes, I should have cited the details of your record which makes it very clear it was Black Mountain to 6m accuracy.

No worries - I was just trying to be clear I hadn't seen one at the National Library or wherever ... I found the first one on 1 January some way to the south of the powerline trail. It was there again in the same place the next day. Glenn found several by sweeping in the same area. My most recent was on 31 January close to the powerline.

Yes it was under the powerlines, if you put these GPS co-ordinates into Mr google and go to satellite from the map it shows where I took the images. 35°15'40.896" S 149°5'32.524" E
