User's notes

Unsure as to ID so have placed it under Leeches for now although the body shape doesn't seem quite right. Very active once disturbed. Thanks to Marcus Leach for the initial sighting in ANBG's Rainforest Gully.

I've put this in platyhelminthes for now, but it doesn't quite look like the other flatworms I've seen. I'm wondering if this is a terrestrial nemertean, a group I haven't encountered yet and don't know much about. I'm hoping we will get some expertise soon to help with these kinds of animals.

The specimen is Anisorhynchodemus guttatus, a native species that occurs from eastern Victoria to south eastern Queensland.
