in a dense thicket of suckers, with lichen on the south sides of some truncks

Don't be fooled by its common name this is really a tree from Hell. I suspect the thickets formed after a parent was cut down

It is in an area where there was once, long ago, a hut where a family lived, so the thicket may be derived from a planting; also there is garlic, and pink oxalis under the tree of heaven.
