Was being dragged around by a bug (see separate sighting) not much bigger than it, not sure if same species, or if this is a predator-prey situation??

I think it's a beetle larva, having been pierced by a true bug for food Christine. It could be Dicranosterna immaculata but the shadows in the photo make it hard for me to be certain.
