I assume that this is a Smoky Buzzer. If so, then I have submitted records of this cicada at the extreme northern and southern ends of the Dryandra Street Woodland. I will upload another record for the DSW where a number of individuals were perched on grass stems, singing. Looking at the existing records in the Canberra Nature Map, Dryandra Street Woodland is a hot spot for this species.
