I think the shape and pattern of this specimen looks similar to many of the variable photos of S. infensa which can be seen on the webpage of that species on the Atlas of Living Australia. The specimes shares with those photos the forward pointing 'chevron' marking (outer forewing) which appears when that moth is at rest with wings folded as above. S. infensa has been recorded in the ACT.
