User's notes

Actively swimming just below the surface of the water. Others seen crawling on the bottom in shallow water. Seem to 'breathe' through their tail end. A previous sighting (3398125) of what seems to be the same thing was tentatively identified as a Dipter(i)a larva, but the mouthparts were not visible. They always seem to be covered in debris.
