Tree 51 on the day of the big hail storm. A lot of leaves on the ground from the storm and pock marks on existing fallen timber. When we arrived at 6.15pm feeding noises were heard inside the hollow. The female was in a nearby tree. Male emerged after 10 mins and sat at the entrance for a while. The chick, which has a red top knot now, popped his head out quite far. Male flew to a nearby tree, female flew to the hollow and feed the chick. Both parents flew off at 6.45pm. All three birds seem fine.
