The name Hibbertia ripariia at present refers only to plants in southern Victoria, Tasmania, and SA. Plants in the ACT previously called Hibbertia riparia have been renamed Hibbertia stricta.
At present, the character used in the ACT to decide whether a narrow leaved Hibbertia is Hibbertia stricta or Hibbertia calycina is the types of hairs on the calyx (sepals joined or not joined). Calycina has simple (unbranched) hairs on the calyx with/without stalked star-shaped hairs. Stricta has only stalked star-shaped hairs on the calyx. You will almost certainly have to use a macro app on you phone to show this. Or you can use a hand lens (x10 or so) and write a comment about what the hairs are like.

Not enough magnification to determine the shape of the hairs, but hairs don't appear to be branching.
