User's notes

Thanks to Marcus Leach for the initial sighting of this insect on a handrail in ANBG's Rainforest Gully. It was measured at 2 mm in length and was very active before it eventually flew away. Unsure if this insect with its unusual antennae was a wasp or a fly. It didn't appear to have Halteres.

Another Cryptanusia species! Possibly Cryptanusia comperei going off google photos. Such unique little wasps. Great find and photos!
