Attracted to the light at night 200 or so on the fly wire. On evening of 8 June a Tawny Frogmouth was hunting/ eating the moths off the windows.

The rami seem to be long but strongly asymmetrical in length and slightly thicker at the base suggesting O. antipoda but I can't be sure given the antennae images are not very sharp. Moth looks like it has suffered from arrested development when emerging. Overall I think Oxycanus sp. might be the safer ID.

I think it is most likely to be O. silvanus, some specimens have quite subdued wing patterns.
