I thought maybe this was specifically a Labyrinthine ghost moth? I'm ondering what would help to confirm it as more than just a ghost or swift mpth?

I used to have Elhamma australasiae in my lawn, but I never got around to digging up a few sods to seek them, but I did find pupal cases sticking out of the lawn. I don't know if they fed on the roots of the grass or the weeds, or both. Good luck rearing it.

Probably a bit big for Xyloryctidae, and a bit small for Cossidae. @Mathew : hope you can rear it to get adult moth for an ID.
