User's notes

A follow-up to sighting 4206801 of another tiny parasitic wasp initially sighted at work on a praying mantis egg sack. The wasp was disturbed by the camera and quickly moved away from the egg sack. It didn't fly however, but jumped from perch to perch similar to a grasshopper, the first time I've observed this behaviour. Presumably the size and shape of the wasp's rear legs are due to this jumping ability.
